Nikka has largely worked in the nonprofit sector since earning her B.A. from Idaho State University in Pocatello, building a career rooted in operational excellence and mission-driven impact. She began as a Development Coordinator with AmeriCorps at Heart of Oregon Corps before moving into roles at Diversability Inc. and the Deschutes Collaborative Forest Project. Most recently, she served as Project Manager for the Central Oregon Forest Stewardship Foundation, where she oversaw operations and financial management for multi-million-dollar projects supporting a parent organization and two fiscal sponsees.

Across her career, Nikka has held diverse roles spanning finance, project management, communications, volunteer and event coordination, and job training. She is particularly skilled at strengthening internal systems, managing budgets, and ensuring that organizations have the operational infrastructure needed to advance their missions effectively.

Originally from Idaho Falls, Nikka spent much of her professional career in Bend, Oregon, and lived a short time in France before relocating to the Wood River Valley in 2025. At Spur, she brings enthusiasm for supporting philanthropy and nonprofit services, along with a deep commitment to collaborative, community-centered work.
