Alison Forbes Van Hook
Nonprofit Services Director
Alison has been working in the nonprofit sector for over 20 years. Before moving to Idaho, she served as an Executive Director, Development Officer and fundraising and strategic planning consultant for nonprofit organizations in Los Angeles, CA. After her family relocated to Sun Valley in 2016, she continued to secure support and raise awareness for nonprofit organizations as a strategic planning consultant and Development Director in the Wood River and Treasure Valleys. Now, she is excited to be part of the Spur team, where she is involved in the design and implementation of the leadership programs, advisory services, and grantmaking initiatives.
Alison holds a Master's Degree in Education from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Arts from Tulane University. She also completed the Annenberg Foundation’s Alchemy+ Nonprofit Leadership Program.
